I live in a small town in South Wales with my husband Anthony and my 2 year old Daughter Margaux who brings joy and a little bit of chaos to every day. Alongside photography I have a serious passion for music and listen to way too many genres to pin down what type of music lover I actually am. Although if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life it would forever be Iron Maiden.

I have an addiction to sweet and salty popcorn because life is too short to work out which one I prefer and my drink of choice will always be a lemon ice tea. I love fashion and will always pick up the monthly Vogue magazine knowing I don’t have room on my shelves for any more. Much to my husbands annoyance I will watch any supernatural TV series that is available and hog the TV on the rare occasion I get time to do so.

I became a wedding photographer after the birth of my Daughter in 2023, leaving behind a 20 year career in public service and mental health. Photography has always brought me so much happiness so I decided to do the brave thing and pursue that happiness to show my Daughter how important this is in life, and so Mon Margaux was created which translates to ‘My Margaux’.

Photos to me are more than images that are kept on a phone or hung on a wall, they preserve moments and capture memories that will remain long after we are gone, they evoke feelings and emotions that once belonged to another time and allows us to relive them years after the moment has passed.
